Last GTF/ITS was held in 2006 and now in 2009 as well. In between India declare its population and showed a dramatic decrease in tiger population with two national park devoid of its founder population. While in Nepal, govt declare its population and showed a increase however decrease in number in some area where it was considered a highest density in its former range. Hope with new initiative we will see positive scenario with healthy global tiger population. I am not convinced with development gaint like world bank alone can make that positive difference. However with like minded conservation organisation sure there is a chance. I hope we are not after a money only and but bringing that difference that everyone can see changes in the field. I am trying to see that in next meeting i want to see what changes these intiative bring will bring to everyone. I am not expecting same old problem defination everytime. Good luck to everyone who believe in conservation.
